The Siren

Image: The Fantasy Art of Molly Harrison. ‘Astra’ The celestial Mermaid.
The world has gone quite mad,
If you could put me back in the water, that would be good.

The Siren
She says so little,
but exudes so much.
mysterious in ethereal flush.

What secrets will she share?
watcher of moon, shining there.
Mythical, graceful and divine,
Siren of seas in ancient times.

The night, sees her light,
in sanctity, of inner sight.
She’s coming and going.
in conscious. All knowing.

Balancing heart in mind,
in dreams, she finds.
Visions come and go,
in memories; You know.

Under water, she floats,
on rising, she takes notes.
Traveling in her own time,
to seek, peace of mind.

In the glow of full moon,
sing her celestial tune.
As you wave her goodbye,
silently, close your eyes.

With a flick of her tail,
a moment to exhale.
Release and let’s go,
into depths of great, below.

When You Believe

When You Believe
They are born of earth, flame and bone,
long since forgotten and sleeping alone.
They weren’t the last to walk these paths,
through other worlds, they’ve since passed.

Scrambling through the cauldrons of hell,
back to the place they are known to dwell.
They’re messengers of balance and magic,
how we’ve forgotten them is utterly tragic.

Adored by the Welsh, their omens of good,
seers of great wisdom, wherein they stood.
Stand out magnificent, mammoth and mythic,
in fighting for what is right, they are terrific.

Their unquenchable flames of compassion,
in virtues of empathy, truth and passion.
It was a long time coming and they knew,
that hidden in yourself is a dragon, or two.

They light the sky with inferno of flames,
the legends of Dragons will always remain.
With fearless hearts, wisdom and charm,
when guarded by dragons, none are harmed.

Creators or destroyers back in their time,
friends of the shamans and gods divined.
If you’d like to practice earth spirituality,
wake your dragon energy, then you’ll believe.

Wake up with a Unicorn

WAKE UP WITH A UNICORN

’You don’t know anything about me’ Zoonie sighed,
her jaw tightly clenched, settling down for the night.
’Well whose fault is that’? Cornelius retorted’
all of my friendly attempts, you have thwarted’

‘I’m an enchanted Horse with a sword on my head,
a protector of magic, happiness and dreams ahead.
If you have a Unicorn to be your best friend,
you are extra special and on me you can depend’

Zoonie glanced over, twinkling hopes, on her face,
‘Okay then, let’s begin with a furry hug of embrace’
Cornelius whispered back in welcoming response
‘Let go of your grief Zoonie, it’s time to move on’

Cornelius advised that there be just one rule:
‘Remember stars sparkle, between me and you.
Two precious hearts in a a mystical union,
now begins the alchemy of happiness infusion.

It will be sweet to see Zoonie laughing again,
this is a true story, I wish to have a happy end.

Has a Unicorn ever crossed your path?

The mythical unicorn has long been a source of enchantment. Solitary, swift and graceful, the unicorn had a single spiralling horn growing from its forehead. Sought by many, the unicorn’s horn was said to have medicinal and magical properties.

It is said that Unicorn energy heals what ails you

Sow ~ Hau (Cymric)

Generosity. Nourishment. Discovery.

Sow, with her large litters symbolise abundance and fertility. Giving generously and freely, knowing that you in turn, are nourished and sustained.

The Pig as nourisher.
The celts farmed pigs to such a degree that, they were noted for having such enormous herds of swine, that they had an abundant supply for salt meat.

The ability of pigs to discover the earths secrets is one of the reasons why the pig is so important in the Druid tradition. Both female and male pigs are sacred to the Goddess. The Sow representing her life giving aspect. The Boar symbolising her life taking. So much so that the Sow is used in ritual practice on Halloween.

. The Stocky Black Sow.
Tailless black sow. To scare children.

Cerridwen, Welsh Goddess of Transformation, Inspiration and Knowledge  was also known as White Sow.

The Celts viewed Pig as a sacred animal – both the wild boar and the domesticated female pig, the sow. They associated sow with the cycles of birth and death, regeneration, the moon, the underworld and intuitive wisdom.

Bear Man

“As in the star system of ‘The Great Bear”?

“Yes, that’s right”

Associated with primal power and insight,

one of the brightest stars in the night skies.

Ursa Major of the Northern Polaris connects you,

with the deepest affinity of your ancestral roots.

Mythology is filled with ancient tales,

the process of exploration, as changes prevailed.

Devoid of electronic systems in bygone times,

Druids were guided by stars; as planets aligned.

Living life for them was very different,

they appreciated the natural world as significant.

Viewed in reality from another perspective,

using symbolism to meet  potential objectives.

Ancients tell of the guiding ‘Light of King Arthur’

“Art” as Bear Man, God Artorius and mighty Warrior.

Primal shamanism was used in ancient times,

as their only navigation, sphere and guide.

Shining his ‘Bear light’ in dark of Winter season;

united this star with influence of animal; for a reason.

All knowing, intuitive and wise,
seeing beyond the darkest of nights.
In contemplation of it’s primal senses,
clarity of sight, in all circumstances.

The visible world, a universe of spirit,
a cosmos inhabited by other beings.
Aware of deception, illusions and lies,
savvy in knowing, what is true and right.

Intertwined within the conscious web of life,
an esoteric network, that will not die.
A visit from Owl; deciphers what is true,
be alert, to his secrets, shared with you.

Upon hearing his screech in night,
he calls another soul to take flight.
Beginning or end, birth or death?
on the threshold of life, be mindful yet.

CELTIC WISDOM: OWL
(Gaelic – Cailleach-Oidhche – Crone of the Night)

Owl teaches us the wisdom of turning adversity into opportunity.

The Traditional Story of the Owl;
The idea that the Owl is ancient – is found in Welsh tradition, in the stories of Culhwch and Olwen. Tales are told of King Arthur and his Knights and a journey which is taken by; “Gwrhyr”- (Interpreter of Tongues)

Where Wolves?

WHERE WOLVES?

Wolves and dingoes are much the same,
the Celts revered them and bred them to fame.
In Wales, Blaiddudd is their Brythonic name.
representing ‘intuition’ as your inner wilding to tame.

Celts used their furs, on rugs they would sit,
their pelts renowned to protect; had you known this?
Despite today’s scary tales, of werewolves and such,
in ancient Druid times, Wolves were loved very much.

Modern stories tell, how wolves are bad,
todays distortions and myths, make me sad.
Positive traits and accolades that i find;
Boy scouts are named “Wolf Cubs” as sacred signs.

Again, in the ‘Jungle Book’ by Rudyard Kipling,
or Merlin’s friendship with a wolf, Ceridwen gifted him.
Wolf brings a strong sense, of loyalty,
inner strengths, courage and tutorial qualities.

Never fear your inner Wolf’s instincts and power,
his strength will support you, when feeling disempowered.

Animal Instincts

tree walk the thoughts from the wild
Image: Thoughts From The Wild

There are desires to be wild, inside of us all,
stop to listen, you will hear their call.
To know your own animal instincts, you must,
before your bones, vanish in to dust.

Learn the folklore, of the survival of the fittest,
or risk feeling insignificant, within society limits.
What about the loss of your own self-esteem?
forgetting to follow your purpose, vision and dreams.

Even if you feel misunderstood, or misaligned,
You are spiritually and physically protected at all times.
Valuable insights, ideas and new teachings come your way,
pay close attention, to what your animal nature, has to say.

Listen, hear

crow in sky

Can you hear me?

can you see me?

i’m big, black, shiny and beautiful,

a secret unknown, an omen of mystery

Do you hear me caw?

don’t be afraid, i’m not that scary, at all.

i’m clever and intelligent, i’d recognise your face

i can even mimic other birds voice traits.

Loved and revered by ancient shamanic tribes

a protector, prophetic and known as, life guides

who am i, do you know?

see, listen, hear, i’m a big black beautiful bird

cawed the crow.

Protectors and healers, back in Celtic days

listen to us cawing, now don’t be afraid.

ANIMAL INSTINCTS

CROW ` Be very watchful over the next couple of days for any clear omens or signs that will guide and teach you. Expect a big change very soon. You’re about to get a glimpse into some future event that affects you directly.

Stephen D Farmer ~ Animal Spirit Guides.

https://www.spirit-animals.com/crow-symbolism/

When our little crow friend is calling, it is to tell us that the time of change is here. It’s time to step into our authentic power.

Crows not only harbour the message of change, but also remind us about the creation and magic all around us. The crow’s striking black colour represents the colour of creation. This is a representation of the immense power each and every one of us holds to take hold of our own destiny.
