There’s Safety in Numbers

In Numerology the Tarot card for December is:

(Key 12) The Hanged Wo/Man

Meaning: Reversal.

As if suspended by the feet, like a pendulum at rest. The Hanged person represents someone who is poised in consciousness and under perfect control. S/he is conscious of the one power everywhere, yet centred in their self.

While not all of us have acrobatic flair, or spare aerial hoops and circus trapezes, just happening to be hanging from the ceilings in our lounge rooms, we all have the ability see our world upside down. When we use any kind of ‘inversion’ therapy, it helps tune into our mental focus, balance, and brain function. In a karaoke carpool with Jeremy Corden, my fave girl crush; P!nk revealed that she sometimes sounds better when singing upside down. “It has to be a scientific thing,” she said. She’s not wrong.

Yes, it sounds bizarre, but it’s true, that any kind of reversal is a powerful way to see the world through new eyes. This posture can make you feel happier and more energetic, due to the increased blood flow to the brain.

Can you do a headstand? whoa, did your eyes just roll? …  ahem, yes, okay, in the real world, if you are like me, we are not all ‘that’ athletic, but there are other ways to get ‘your head upside down’ Your first step to getting there could be by practising the easy yoga pose of a ‘Downward Facing Dog’

When your natural intuitive senses are overturned, life has more meaning and colour. Standing on your head enables you to become more inspired, focused and calm.

The Truth is In there

Image: The Matrix
The Truth is ‘In’ there
He knows there is much more to know,
to recover the essence of his soul.
Searching for the mystical and Divine,
inside the spiral galaxies of his mind.

There’s nowhere to fly, no place to stand,
as he trudges through hedonistic lands.
A yearning felt in a ‘self’ he’s known,
hidden in the core of skin and bones.
Before the hierarchy of collusion,
caused mass fears and confusion.
That antiquated inhuman machine,
obscuring, metaphysics in between.
His once strong spiritual source,
has been veiled behind dread’s door.
Restricted from the infinity of knowing,
yet, this adventurer, keeps on going.

Searching higher perceptual states,
a mind, who tirelessly contemplates.
The beauty of love, hopes and intuition,
coincidences, dream speak and visions.

Multiverses of star’s in timely alliance,
beyond the cold frigidness of science.
To escape the matrix of fear and derision,
he joins fellow seekers on this mission.

Witch Words

‘What does the word witch mean?’

Face lights up … ‘Literally speaking’, it is the use of spelling.

Incorporate witchcraft into their writing and consider morning writing rituals as a form of magic. They usually research their own passions and interests. The Word Witch will very often have their own writing portal in their library, to practice their craft. They don’t always just use the library though. Many enjoy watching earthlings and taking long road trips in nature, as they scribble notes to take back to their sacred hub, to conjure word spells.

She stood. In contemplation there.
She would. Feel it in the brisk of air.
She could. See beyond stars in sky.
She knew. A change had come nigh.

The light haze. As sun shone through.
Trunks of gums. Shadowing purple hues.
Rough ground. Covered in brown bark.
Humming of insects. Listening in. Hark.

She walked about. Scrubland bush.
Listening deeply. To the seasons hush.
She saw. The Pelicans. Migrating flight.
She saw. Native flora. Sprouting to life.

She saw. The clouds .Were a scudding.
Grass Trees. And Red Banksia. Budding.
She could see. By the flight. Of ants;
*DJERAN’ season. Has come. To her land.

Congratulations to indigenous elder, artist and educator Dr Miriam-Rose Ungunmerr-Baumann for being named the 2021 Senior Australian of the Year.  She has dedicated her life to giving Aboriginal children the skills to navigate western and traditional culture.

‘Dadirri’ is an ancient living practice that supports spiritual well-being. Like the soft underbelly of a crocodile, this is the gentle, quiet, deep spring that is in all of us; where our sense of identity, belonging, purpose and connection is explored, founded and nurtured. As it is in me, it is also in others. It is the Indigenous gift to all Australians’

She Was a Beauty

so I said to myself:

and I knew it was me, because I recognised my voice.

What an amazing Super Moon.

She was a Beauty

I was up at 4am, when she shone through my bedroom window, to wake me up.

So I sat with her.

It’s those special moments when you are wide eyed and just soaking the awe of her brilliance, which reminds me…

For the pleasures of your soles

ME: I’m in a bad mood
HIPPOCRATES: Go for a nice long walk and if you’re still in a bad mood,
go for another walk.

When the world is chaotic, your mind is in a buzz,
with in an infinite overload of ‘out of the blue’ stuff.
Take your mind, heart, soul and spirit for a walk,
listen out for the exhilarating sounds of nature’s call.

Soul of Mother Earth, to soles of your feet;
Heart to ground, centred in peace.
Heel, then toe, mindfully across terrain,
smell and touch the stability of Earth again.

Let the grass grow under your feet,
heart lifting moments, as senses meet.
Earth and Heart, letters are the same;
they’re just ‘sounded’ out in a different way.

This Monk is ringing a bell as he walks, so that it chimes at a constant interval, calling people to pay attention and join him on his spiritual journey.

Mindful Walking Explained

Simply apply the core concept of mindfulness to the process of walking. Focus the mind on the movement of walking. This increases the mind-body connection, heightens mindfulness, and boosts our mental well-being.

“The most primitive way of healing the body is by putting bare feet on natural ground,” says US cardiologist Dr Stephen Sinatra. “I call it caveman medicine and I thoroughly recommend it.”

Solvitur ambulando /ˈsɒlvɪtər ˌæmbjʊˈlændoʊ/[1] is a Latin phrase which means “it is solved by walking” and is used to refer to a problem which is solved by a practical experiment. It is often attributed to Saint Augustine.[2]

The familiar spirit can be an animal companion.

ADHD’s trademark hyperfocus is a serious advantage — if you can effectively channel all that attention and energy into work that makes a difference. “Many scientists, writers, and artists with ADHD have had very successful careers, in large part because of their ability to focus on what they’re doing for hours on end,” says Kathleen Nadeau, Ph.D.

July Numerology, Sighs…

In Numerology

July Represents ‘SEVEN

“Silence Please”

The month of July is all about delving inward. It’s the time of the year when you’ll feel the need to be alone. It’s a spiritual and mystical month.

You’ll have many opportunities to test your sense of spirituality. Your faith and trust will be tested and you’ll feel as though you want to retreat from the static of the outside world.

You’ll feel more quiet, detached, and introspective than usual, so don’t let that surprise you. It’s a month where you’re gathering data, collecting knowledge, and probing your own inner depths.

This is the month for a retreat, sabbatical, or just additional “alone” time. Your mission—should you choose to accept it—is to explore the depths of your soul’s calling and be willing to recalibrate yourself so that you come into alignment with the you that you are excavating this year.

Your mantra should be ~ “Retreat

So calling to my ‘self’ to have a chat,

about what frustrations therein, that I had, had.

After sitting down upon my reasoning chair,

I recounted all of the bad memories that I had held there.

Becoming more depressed, gloomy and sad,

deciding to look elsewhere for the good that was in that bad.

Changing then, my point of view,

in knowing just what I should do.

Seating myself differently in a ‘happy’ position,

Reflecting there and then, on all of the good,

feeling much happier, as well, I should.

Finding that place, to settle between both chairs,

feeling much better and happier, that I had.

Considering all of the challenging circumstances,
