Happy Heavenly Baptism Day Mother Teresa.

“Prayer in action is love, love in action is service.”

LIVING IN THE LOVE OF THE COMMON PEOPLE

It’s been recorded that Mother Mary Teresa (Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu.) was Baptised on this day 26th August (1910) and considered this her ‘true birthday’ She was born in North Macedonia. Her work is recognised throughout the world.

SAINT IN THE GUTTER AND SAINT IN HEAVEN.

Mother Teresa was born for a purpose and was blessed with the power to achieve it. One of the worlds greatest humanitarians with an almighty vision.

CALLING

In 1946 she received the “call within a call”, to care for the sick and the poorest of the poor. She then moved into the slums of Calcutta, India, dedicated to serving ‘the most vulnerable caste’, “The untouchable people”, who were shunned by society and destitute.

These are the dear people she dedicated her life to:

THE UNTOUCHABLES

Dalits [Untouchables] are subjected to constant harassment from the upper castes. Being refused work and even murdered. For centuries, they’ve been victims of violence and segregation. ‘Untouchability’ is like racism in the Western world.
