Patrick Wayne Swayze was born on this day 18th August (1952)  in Houston, Texas. Actor, choreographer, dancer, instructor, singer, and songwriter who was recognised for playing distinctive lead roles, especially romantic, tough and comedic characters.



Today would have been Patrick’s 69th birthday.  His epic 80s career had every role imaginable from action hero to sexy, dancing heartthrob.

    Yes, he was an incredible man of so many talents.
    a beautiful soul, so gentle and considerate of women, in an age where the males ruled.
    It is good to know that he was all that in real life, not just in front of the cameras.
    No wonder women were so in awe of him.
    He was a great example to other males, of ‘what women needed …
