The Charioteer

‘Temporarily paused for inner maintenance’

Sometimes, when I stop listening…

Hubby: What’s for dinner?

Me: Dry cat food and deodorant. And maybe some yoghurt.

Him: (Stares at me)

Me: (Notices the silence and the look on his face) … You didn’t ask me what we needed from the store, did you?

Him: No.

Me: uhmmm

July represents (Key 7) The Chariot.

Symbolically the Charioteer is the soul, directing the body. Look at the Chariot card closely, notice that the charioteer has no reins. It is mentally, through the will, that he directs the sphinxes. The starry canopy overhead indicates that we are recipients of celestial energies. The winged globe on the cart represents self consciousness elevated by aspiration.

Cancer (Moon)

June 21-July 22

(Key 7) Cancer.

The crab has a shell which protects its soft body, from the dangers of the outer world. Cancer withdraws into its protective shell to ponder recent experiences and examine them subconsciously.
