Take your heart for a walk in the woods
“Instructions for living a life.
Tell about it.”
― Mary Oliver ~ Good Reads
Poet Mary Oliver was a National Book Award winner and the Pulitzer Prize winning author of 1983’s poetry collection American Primitive.
Much of her poetry is focused on the landscape of New England. That’s where she took long walks in the woods and wrote poems about her relationship with nature, bringing comparisons to Henry David Thoreau and Walt Whitman.
Lose your mind
find your heart,
this is when new adventures can start.
Leave behind the old, plan for the new
become optimistic, explore the “simple” life, views.
Don’t forget to live this life while you’re in it;
other wise, you may find that you will have left your ‘life’
